Valentina Galloni (IBC-Regione Emilia Romagna) and Cristina Da Milano (Eccom) will chair the seminar.
Welcome from Gianfranco Maraniello, MAMbo’s Director.
Laura Carlini, Director of Museum Service (IBC- Regione Emilia Romagna) will present the regional museum system and the accreditation scheme.
Veronica Ceruti, MAMbo’s Educational Department responsible, will present a summary of MAMbo's programmes addressed to young people.
Alessandra Falconi (Centro Zaffiria) will introduce the “Interculturarte project” [.pps 2.000 KB], an intercultural project realised by Centro Zaffiria and Museo degli Sguardi of Rimini. Among other activities, the project offered artistic laboratories in order to investigate the role of the masks in past and present time through contemporary art: the students involved were stimulated to think about communicating through art. In this process they were supported by an Italian artist and an Argentinean one.
Daniele Pario Perra, artist and researcher, will introduce the “Fresco's removal project”, based on graffiti removed from walls and transferred on panels in order to preserve these important expressions of juvenile culture for the future. In this case, the museum becomes an interdisciplinary space, able to engage young people by using old restoration techniques applied to a new way of communication.
THE CITY TELLING PROJECT : an intercultural project realised by the Education Department of MAMbo, in collaboration with San Donato Quarter of Bologna, and the Educational Department of the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo of Turin. Considering the museum as a starting point, City Telling aims at starting with its participants a journey based on the discovery and analysis of the territory, in order to tell its identity, real and perceived: emotional MAPS to investigate the relationship between subject and territory, between private identity and public space.
Micaela Guarino (IBC-Regione Emilia Romagna and San Donato Quarter councillor) will introduce the context and the reasons of the project.
Silvia Branca and Antonio Fusaro (Katun Group and Katun Party Group educators) will describe what the groups consist of, in terms of methodology and activities.
Ilaria Del Gaudio (MAMbo educator) will describe the project and its outcomes.
Young people who participated to the project will attend the presentation to answer the delegates’ questions.
